Shortly after midnight, on Tuesday 26 December, police received a report of a robbery that took place in the parking lot of a commercial premises on Eastern Avenue, shortly before midnight, on Monday 25 December.
Shortly before 2:10PM on Friday, 22 December, officers responded to a report of a water-related death.
As Christmas Day approaches, the RCIPS will maintain its road enforcement operations, increased community foot patrols and high visibility mobile patrols across the islands as part of the RCIPS’ annual holiday safety operation.
Shortly after 2:20AM yesterday, 9 December, officers received a report that a man had been found unresponsive at an address off Crewe Road in George Town. The man, age 43, was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Joshua Whittaker, who was reported missing on Sunday, 5 November, has been located and appears to be in good health. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in this matter.
Since the recent spate of armed robberies, police have been undertaking targeted operations focused on locating and apprehending those involved, and suppressing further robberies.
Shortly after 3:00PM on Friday 10 November, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched emergency services to a report of a person in distress on a vessel in the vicinity of Rum Point, North Side.
Bodden Town man is formally charge with eight offenses and remanded in custody.
Just before 9:45PM on Friday 27 October, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of an armed robbery that took place at a food truck located in the Red Bay area of George Town.
