On Sunday, 5 July, two individuals were arrested following searches carried out by RCIPS and CBC officers along Lariat Road in North Side.
Following an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission and the RCIPS, a former RCIPS employee has been sentenced to 11 years 8 months in prison for Conspiracy to Import Firearms and Component Parts, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of Ammunition, and Misconduct in a Public Office.
