The police are aware of a video circulating on social media which appears to show a man attempting to unlawfully gain entry to an apartment building. Following enquiries, a man age 39, residing in West Bay, has been arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass in relation to this matter.
On Thursday, 22 January, officers responded to a report of a person in distress in the water off Eden Rock on South Church Street. The man was transported to the Anthony Eden Hospital via ambulance, and was subsequently pronounced deceased.
Shanae Jannet Carter, who was reported missing on Thursday, 22 January, has been located.
A suspect in a domestic incident was involved in a collision on Esterley Tibbetts Highway on Saturday, 17 January.

Police have seen an uptick in the number of reports of stolen e-bikes over the past week, and are reminding the public of steps they can take to avoid being a victim of such thefts, or to assist with making it easier for any such stolen items to be recovered.
On Tuesday, 25 November, police received a report of theft, made on behalf of Rotary Central Cayman Islands. It was reported that five ticket books containing a total of 50 raffle tickets for the Rotary Central Music Extravaganza, had been stolen and were being sold to members of the public.

The man, age 26, residing in West Bay, who was arrested on Friday, 17 October following an assault incident in Camana Bay, has now been formally charged.
This week, officers responded to two incidents where vehicles appear to have been deliberately set on fire. A stolen Honda CR-V was set on fire in George Town, while two jet skis were set on fire at an address in West Bay. Both incidents are under police investigation.
