Just about 10PM on Saturday 1 August, police had cause to stop a vehicle that was travelling with a trailered vessel attached. The vessel appeared to have recently been retrieved from a launching ramp on North Church Street in George Town.

A man, age 53 of George Town, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply and suspicion of consumption of a controlled drug, following an operation at an address on Rock Hole Road, where officers recovered cocaine and cash. He has been granted bail as investigations continue.
