For a better experience on RCIPS, UPDATE YOUR BROWSER. Just after 1PM today, 4 February, police officers on mobile patrol on Godfrey Nixon Way in George Town observed a stolen vehicle exiting a gas station in the area. The unit attempted to stop the vehicle, however were unable to do so.

A man, age 35 of George Town, has been arrested on suspicion of Assault ABH in relation to an assault incident outside a bar on Smith Road. He has been granted bail with conditions as investigations continue.
The RCIPS and members of the Special Constabulary carried out Operation Winter Guardian during the month of December up to and including the New Year’s holidays, which involved enhanced policing to ensure public safety during the increased activities involving the day and nighttime economies.
The RCIPS is aware of messages circulating on social media regarding the possible poisoning of dogs in certain areas of West Bay. We are also aware of an incident on 9 December, where three dogs were found to be ill by their owner and were taken for emergency veterinary care, resulting in two of the dogs having to be euthanized.
Today, 4 December, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is delighted to announce that it has received a donation of 22 AED (Automated External Defibrillators) battery packs and 20 CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Kits from the Cayman Heart Fund.
