At about 11:50PM last night, 25 June, officers responded to a three-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road, Savannah, involving a Honda Accord, Kia Optima, and an RCIPS Ford Explorer service vehicle.
Just before 9:30PM yesterday, Sunday 19 June, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a motorcar, that took place on Crewe Road in the vicinity of Palm Dale.
Shortly before 9:00PM yesterday, Tuesday, 14 June, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on the Linford Pierson Highway, in the vicinity of the Mangrove Pointe roundabout, involving a yellow Nissan March.
At about 2:50AM today, 15 June, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on West End East Road in Cayman Brac involving a blue Honda Fit. The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to Faith Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closure taking place to facilitate the National Museum’s Looky Ya! Her Majesty’s Jubilee Celebrations on Saturday, June 18, from 5:30AM to 2:00PM. Goring Avenue will be closed between South Church Street and Louise Llewellyn Way.
At about 6:10PM on Saturday, 11 June, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on North Side Road, involving a blue Mini Cooper. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital for treatment for what appear to be serious injuries. He remains in hospital in stable but critical condition.
Police can confirm that the 84-years-old woman that was involved in the serious collision in George Town on Saturday 11 June, passed away at the George Town Hospital on Thursday 16 June.
The RCIPS is advising the public of the following partial road closure taking place to facilitate trenching works associated with telecom utilities which commenced 8:00PM Friday 10 June, and will conclude 8:00PM Sunday 12 June.
