For a better experience on RCIPS, UPDATE YOUR BROWSER. Just before 6:45 AM this morning, Monday 18 February, police had cause to launch an operation in the breakers area. Officers attended the location and saw a vessel in the water. Three men were also located in area acting suspiciously. The men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of illegal landing.
The RCIPS would like to remind all Kaaboo attendees not to off load passengers on the roundabouts and highways near the event. Doing so is extremely dangerous, and even more so at night when visibility is lower.
This afternoon, 14 February, just past 3PM, a two-car collision occurred on Bodden Town Road near the cemetery in Bodden Town.
A man, age 21 of George Town, has been formally charged with 12 offenses including: Arson, in relation to an incident on 13 October where the above-mentioned vehicle was set on fire;

Officers in West Bay and the Joint Marine Unit assisted two persons in distress who had been paddle boarding and were drifting out to sea, on Thursday, 31 January. They were located and brought safely to shore by the JMU.
This past weekend, on 25 and 27 January, officers in the Eastern Districts conducted two operations in response to concerns from members of the community about anti-social behavior and illegal activity, which resulted in several arrests for gambling and drug offenses.
A man has been pronounced dead this afternoon after having encountered difficulties while snorkeling in the water off Cemetery Beach. The man, age 63, is a visitor from Canada.
The vehicle was described as being an orange 2015 Hyundai Accent GL, registration number 162-723. The vehicle was left in the parking lot overnight when the owner of the vehicle returned to collect the vehicle it was missing. A photograph of a similar vehicle is attached.
A 60-year-old man died on Thursday, 3 January, after experiencing difficulties in the water off Seven Mile Beach during a snorkeling trip.
