Traffic Advisory: Road Closures for March for Jesus Praise Parade, 7 June

The RCIPS is informing the public of the following road closure taking place on Saturday, 7 June, to facilitate a March for Jesus Praise Parade. Sections of West Bay Road will be closed in stages from 3:00PM to 6:30PM between Seven Mile Public Beach and Fort Street to accommodate the parade procession.

Man Arrested for DUI After Collision with Pedestrians, 11 May

Shortly after 1:40AM yesterday, 10 May, officers responded to a report of a traffic collision on North Sound Road, involving a Honda Fit and two pedestrians. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of DUI and other traffic offenses.

Police can confirm the identity of the deceased involved in the fatal collision involving a vehicle that collided with a cyclist, that occurred just before 6AM, yesterday morning, Monday 21 April. He is Per Undheim, a 39-year-old Norwegian national, who resides in Savannah.
