Serious Collision on Bodden Town Road, 7 January

7th January, 2020

Shortly after 7:00PM on Sunday, 5 January, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on Bodden Town Road east of Lakeview Drive. The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. He remains in critical condition.

Holiday Traffic Enforcement Leads to 51 Arrests for DUI, 2nd January

Thr sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. He remains in critical but stable condition.

Fatal Single-Vehicle Collision on East West Arterial, 30 December

30th December, 2019

Shortly after 1:00AM today, 30 December, officers responded to a report of a serious single-vehicle collision on the East West Arterial, at the intersection with Doubletree Lane. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a man age 26 of Bodden Town, was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.

CPD officers have also been conducting evening foot patrols this week in main commercial areas around the island to increase visibility and reassurance to the public.

Single-Vehicle Collision on Hirst Road, 12 December

12th December, 2019

Shortly after 7:45 this morning officers were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision on Hirst Road in Bodden Town, near the intersection with Shamrock Road, where a Toyota Windom had left the roadway and overturned. Emergency services arrived on scene and attended to the driver who had sustained minor injuries.
