RCIPS Acting Compliance Officer Jody-Ann Moore discusses Cayman Thanksgiving and how the RCIPS celebrated this relatively new tradition this year.

Shortly after 7:30AM on Monday, 2 December, an RCIPS motorcycle, which was responding to an incident, was involved in a traffic collision with a private SUV.

The RCIPS is advising the public that there will be road closures on Cardinall Avenue in George Town, on Saturday, 30 November, in order to facilitate two separate events.

Radio Cayman will be hosting the Cayman Brac leg of their annual Breeze Fusion 5K on Saturday, 30 November, at 6:00AM, beginning at the South Side Public Beach, travelling to Fosters Corner, and then returning to the Public Beach. The event is expected to be completed by 8:00AM.

The West Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church will be hosting their annual 5K walk/run on Sunday, 1 December, at 6:30AM, beginning at the Ed Bush Stadium. The event is expected to be completed by 7:30AM.

Anton Bodden Drive and Condor Drive closed for police investigation into a fatal motor vehicle collision.

Bodden Town Road closed due to serious road collision.

A pedestrian remains in hospital after being struck by a car on Sunday night, 24 November in George Town. A man, age 37 of George Town was arrested on suspicion of DUI in connection with the incident.

The RCIPS was out this past Sunday at the Cayman Grand Auto Showoff (ASOSIX) where attendees had the chance to get up close and personal with our various service vehicles and speak to officers about the Service. 

The community of Windsor Park is hosting a Christmas Tree Lighting event on Saturday, 23 November. In order to facilitate this event, Hawkins Drive will be closed at the junction of Mango Turn from 6:00PM to 9:30PM. During this time, road users will be able to access Hawkins Drive via Anthony Drive and/or Williams Drive.
