Traffic Advisory for Olympic Way During USA/Cuba Football Match, 19 November

The Cayman Islands Football Association will be hosting a football match between the national men’s teams of Cuba and the USA this evening, 19 November at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex. In order to facilitate this event, access for through traffic on Olympic Way will be limited between 5:30PM and 9:00PM.

The Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh Day Adventists will be hosting their 30th Anniversary International 10K Run/Walk on Sunday, 17 November, beginning at 6:00AM and is expected to be completed by 8:00AM. A portion of the Linford Pierson Highway will be closed during the event.

Motorists Advised to Exercise Caution During Pete Ribbins Memorial Ride, 17 November

On Sunday, 17 November, Cayman Water will be hosting their annual Pete Ribbins Memorial Bike Ride and Run, which begins at 6:30AM and ends at 8:30AM. Motorists traveling along the Esterley Tibbetts Highway and West Bay Road on Sunday morning are advised to exercise caution.

Off-Duty Officer Arrested on Suspicion of DUI, 5 November

Shortly before 2:00AM this morning, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on the Linford Pierson Highway in George Town. The driver, a man age 63 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The man was an off-duty police officer with the RCIPS.
