Off-Duty Officer Arrested on Suspicion of DUI, 5 November

5th November, 2019

Shortly before 2:00AM this morning, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on the Linford Pierson Highway in George Town. The driver, a man age 63 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The man was an off-duty police officer with the RCIPS.

Road Closure for Emergency Training Exercise, 1 November

On the morning of Friday, 1 November, North Church Street will be closed between Lobster Pot and Burger King in order to facilitate an Emergency Training Exercise. The closure will be in effect for a 30 minute period between 9:00AM and 10:00AM, however the exact time within this window is uncertain.
