On Thursday, 15 February, RCIPS officers worked with partner agency, CBC, to execute a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act, at a residential address in the vicinity of Mijall Road, Bodden Town.

Shortly after 7:00AM yesterday, 18 January, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report that a vessel carrying two men had landed on the shore off Bodden Town Road, in the Breakers area. Officers attended the location and detained the two men, who appeared to be in good health.
A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of ganja with intent to supply and possession of cocaine with intent to supply, after officers had cause to stop the vehicle he was driving in and conducted a search.
Shortly before 4:00PM yesterday, 8 January, officers responded to a report of a robbery at an address on Water Cay Road, North Side. A man was sitting outside with some companions when he was approached by a man unknown to him, who brandished a knife, demanded money from the victim and made threats.
RCIPS has been working closely with the Director of HMP Northward, Daniel Greaves and partners at the Department of Public Safety and Communications (DPSC) in an effort to reduce the incidents of contraband smuggling into the Prison.
As Christmas Day approaches, the RCIPS will maintain its road enforcement operations, increased community foot patrols and high visibility mobile patrols across the islands as part of the RCIPS’ annual holiday safety operation.
