Just before 4PM yesterday, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a restaurant and bar located on Eastern Avenue, where it was reported that a man and a woman had an altercation involving a weapon at the location, and this resulted in the man being seriously injured with a knife.
At about 4:40PM on Sunday, 3 March, Cayman Islands Coast Guard officers responded to a report of a person in distress at the Stingray City Sandbar. It was reported that a man had been in the water when he experienced difficulties and became unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead.
