Just before 3:30 AM on Sunday, 20 July, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a grocery store located in the Mount Pleasant Road area of West Bay, where it was reported that a robbery had taken place.
Police arrested three men concerning a robbery that took place at a bar on Shedden Road in George Town yesterday, 18 July. The men remain in custody, and investigators are seeking witnesses to come forward and assist with the investigation.
The man, age 33, residing in Bodden Town, who was arrested on 11 December, 2024, has been formally charged with Murder and Abduction, in relation to the death of two-year-old Alissady Powell, whose body was found on the iron shore in Cayman Brac on 26 July 2022.

Shortly after 3:00PM yesterday, 13 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a liquor store in Heritage Square on West Bay Road. Officers attended the location and conducted enquiries, and, shortly afterwards, arrested a man age 28, residing in West Bay, on suspicion of robbery.
