The man who was arrested following a wounding incident involving a male juvenile on Saturday, 30 August, has now been formally charged with Wounding with Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm. He appeared in court today, 2 September, and was remanded in custody pending a further appearance on 5 September.

The RCIPS Cyber Crime Unit has become aware of a phishing SMS text message circulating in the Cayman Islands purporting to be from Cayman National Bank. The SMS claims that the your bank account has been frozen due to unusual activity, and advises to click the link in order to regain access. This text is fraudulent.
Shortly before 7:30PM on Saturday, 16 August, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a pharmacy in Centennial Towers in West Bay.

Shortly after 5:20PM yesterday, 9 August, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business on North Sound Road, George Town, south of the Butterfield roundabout.
Two men, both age 34, residing in Bodden Town and West Bay respectively, and one male juvenile, age 17, residing in George Town, have been arrested and formally charged in relation to multiple violent robbery incidents which occurred on 14 February, 2025, in the George Town area.
