UPDATE: Two West Bay Men Charged in Relation to Wounding Incident, 11 May

11th May, 2020

Police are investigating a report of shots fired in West Bay on the evening of 6 May, and an incident where a man was wounded with a machete in the same area the next day, 7 May. A man, age 34 of West Bay, has been arrested in relation to the assault.

Packages of Substance Believed to be Cocaine Washed up on the Shores of East End, 1 May

On Tuesday, 28 April, DOE officers came across a duffle bag containing packages of suspected cocaine. Police took possession of the packages, believed to have a value of $350,000 CI, which were subsequently destroyed with the assistance of the DEH.

Man Charged with Breach of Curfew, Assaulting Police and Several Other Offenses, 22 April

22nd April, 2020

A man, age 21 of George Town, was arrested and has subsequently been charged with several offenses following an incident on 16 April when he was observed recklessly riding an illegal motorbike and subsequently resisted arrest and assaulted officers. He appeared in court and was remanded into custody until 30 April.
