Just after 8:00PM on Monday, 25 August 2025, officers observed a BMW travelling dangerously on West Bay Road near Cemetery Beach. The vehicle, with no headlights on, swerved into oncoming traffic and forced police to take evasive action.
A charging decision has been made in relation to the assault incident which took place on Rex Crighton Boulevard on 19 February, 2025, involving a 17-year-old male and a man age 72. The 17-year-old is being charged with Inconsiderate Driving, while the 72-year-old man is being charged with Common Assault.
Police can now confirm the identity of the deceased in the fatal collision which occurred on Sunday, 27 July, on the Linford Pierson Highway. He is 29-year-old Kheon Robinson, of Bodden Town.
Police and other emergency services are currently on the scene of a fatal collision which occurred early this morning, 28 July, on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Cool Springs Close, Savannah. Shamrock Road is currently closed between Spotts Newlands Road and Hirst Road (Countryside).
Police can now confirm the identity of the deceased in the fatal collision which occurred on Monday morning, 28 July, on Shamrock Road. He is 31-year-old Durvin Norales Mejia, a Honduran national residing in Cayman.

At around 2:10AM today, 2 July, an off-duty police officer came across a single motor vehicle collision on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Marina Drive, Prospect. Motorists are advised that the section of Shamrock Road between Marina Drive and Mangrove Avenue is currently closed.
