UPDATE: This evening, 26 April, officers arrested a woman, age 20 of West Bay, for a number of driving offenses in relation to the serious collision involving a male cyclist which occurred yesterday, 25 April, just after 8:40PM.

Three male juveniles who were previously arrested for their involvement in an incident that occurred on 8 August 2024, have been charged with Reckless and Negligent Act, Damage to Property and Criminal Trespass.
This past week officers responded to 92 motor vehicle collision reports, a higher than average number for the period. Of these, the vast majority were damage only collisions with minor damage reported.
On Friday, 31 January, the RCIPS conducted a series of operations in the Eastern Districts, as part of a day of action to address ongoing community concerns. Police investigate single vehicle collision involving a marked police vehicle. The officer driving sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was breatherlised with negative results.
