Police investigate two motor vehicle collisions involving pedestrians. No life-threatening-injuries involved.

At about 12:25PM on Wednesday, 26 November, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on West Bay Road, near Lawrence Boulevard, involving a Chevrolet Colarado and a police service vehicle, which was conducting a training exercise with lights and sirens activated.

Police responded to a serious single-vehicle collision in Bodden Town early this morning and are urging motorists to drive responsibly throughout the festive season.

The RCIPS issues road closures and traffic delays for the period between 8 to 10 November.

A George Town woman was arrested following a single-vehicle collision where she collided with a private residence, causing major damage to the structure.

On Tuesday, 22 July, 2025, RCIPS officers on mobile patrol observed a vehicle suspected to be committing traffic offenses. Following investigations, the driver, who is an Auxiliary Constable with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, has been charged with multiple offenses:

Shortly after 9:30PM on Saturday, 25 October, officers responded to a report of a collision on Sea View Road, in the vicinity of Welcome Way, East End, involving a Honda Fit and a pedestrian. Following the collision, the driver of the vehicle was approached by members of the public who damaged the vehicle and assaulted her.

Police can now confirm the identity of the victim in the fatal collision which took place on Saturday, 18 October, on West Bay Road. He is 78-year-old Michael Edward Boonstra, a visitor from the United States.
