RCIPS Launches Operation Winter Guardian, providing safety advise to the public during the holiday season.

Two of the men involved in the incident which took place in Cayman Brac on 3 December, ages 64 and 63, have been formally charged by the police and are expected to appear in court on Thursday, 11 December.

On Tuesday, 2 December, officers responded to a report that a large number of suspicious packages had been found on the shore off Guy Banks Road in Little Cayman

A man has been charged following an incident in Cayman Brac, where he made threats and brandished what appeared to be a firearm.

This past Thursday and Friday, officers in Cayman Brac were joined by officers from Customs & Border Control, along with additional police officers from Grand Cayman, for a high-visibility day of action, targeting illegal activity on the island.

Police and other emergency services respond to multiple reports of a suspected aircraft descent just off the coast of Cayman Brac. Search parties worked throughout the night, but the reports have yet to be substantiated.

The Cayman Islands Coast Guard (CICG) wishes to advise the public that the active search and rescue operation for Mr. Corey Nikito Brown and Mr. Amilcar Rosales Smith has transitioned to an inactive status as of 3:00PM on 24 October 2025.

This past Friday, 3 October, RCIPS officers in Cayman Brac, joined by operational support units from Grand Cayman, and officers from Customs & Border Control, conducted a high-visibility day of action, targeting drug activity and anti-social behaviour in the community.

RCIPS Welfare Chairman represents the Cayman Islands at the Caribbean Federation of Police Welfare Association and is named 1st Vise President for the organisation.

On Monday, 31 March, officers carried out a Day of Action in Cayman Brac focusing on drug and traffic offenses.
