Shortly after 9:30PM on Monday, 9 February, officers responded to a report of a collision on North Church Street, north of Bodden Road, involving a Mini Roadster and a Yamaha Crypton motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle received serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to hospital.
Shortly before 11:00PMon Saturday, 24 January, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision in the vicinity of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway and Gecko Link, involving a Ford Ranger.
The man, age 47 of North Side, who was arrested in relation to a fatal collision involving a cyclist on Frank Sound Road on 28 March, 2023, has been formally charged.
The woman, age 24 residing in West Bay, who was previously arrested in relation to a fatal collision on 7 December, 2024 in the vicinity of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, has since been formally charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving and Driving a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol and Causing Death.
In order to facilitate the National Heroes Day Celebrations which are taking place on Monday, 26 January, the following road closures will be in place from Friday, 23 January at 6:00PM to Monday, 26 January, at 10:00PM.
